CASTING CALL Live D&D Stage Performers for Omaha Pop Expo!
Calling all adventurers in the Omaha area! Dungeon Crate and Traveling Tales Productions are teaming up to bring a thrilling, live Dungeons & Dragons show to the main stage of Omaha Pop Expo on January 17th & 18th—and we want YOU in the party!
James Gallagher of Traveling Tales (your DM for this adventure) and Wayne Brekke of Dungeon Crate are holding an open casting call to find three talented players to complete the cast.
This is a performance opportunity for local performers who are energetic, quick-witted, and love D&D.
We Are Seeking:
· Three D&D 5e Players with strong improvisation skills and great stage presence.
· Must be local to the Omaha, Lincoln, or Council Bluffs area.
Open Casting Call Details:
· Where: Dungeon Crate [6404 Maple st, Omaha Ne]
· When: Wednesday, December 4th, 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM
What to Expect at the Audition:
The audition will consist of a short interview and a mini roleplay session.
Be prepared to discuss:
· Your performance background (improv, theatre, etc.)
· Your D&D 5e experience
· Your comfort with improvisation and audience interaction
We'll then put your skills to the test with some quick,fun improv scenarios to see how you react and collaborate.
Ideal Cast Members Are:
· Strong improvisers with quick, humorous instincts.
· Team players with a collaborative, "yes-and" attitude.
· Reliable and available for rehearsals and both OPE performance days.
· Comfortable on stage with clear vocal projection.
· (A plus) Comfortable with social media/promotion.
