It was seven years ago this month that we packed up and shipped out our first Dungeon Crates. That means that our party has gone on 84 adventures together! RPG Socks to Keep Your Dang Feet Warm
Our featured item this month was socks! This February has been a cold one for most and we figured everyone would appreciate being cozy in style by tucking their feet into warm socks that show off your love of tabletop RPGs. We hope people wear them proudly on their next game day. We offered a collection because what’s fun about everyone getting the same thing? Some got DnD socks, some got monsters. Just like in the game (and life) you never know quite how it’s going to roll out.
Dragon Distance Marker by Project Cuts and Burns Exclusvely for Dungeon Crate
Next up is a wooden ruler distance marker that’s another collaboration between us and our friends at Project Cuts and Burns. This doozy of a dragon ruler is a quick and easy way to measure how far you can cast spells or the distance your character – or a monster – can go and doubles as a snazzy wood bookmark. We added something similar about 6 years ago and since then, people have been asking for us to offer them again.
Flashing D6 Light-Up Rubber Dice
Just for fun we popped a flashing D6 into each crate. This light-up rubber dice puts a little bounce in your roll and lights up the gaming table, especially at night. At 1 ½”, it’s a chonk of a dice and it conveniently includes batteries so it’s ready to roll!

No crate would be complete without a mini and this Black Knight Fighter Mini is fierce. This detailed fighter comes fully armored and ready to engage. It was sculpted by Fat Dragon Games and printed by our new collaborator Omaha 3D Prints. Paint up this bad boy or play him as-is, the choice is yours.
Original DnD 5E Encounter by Dungeon Doodles – Dungeon Crate Exclusive
In honor of our seventh birthday, the original RPG encounter this month is A Birthday Bash by Dungeon Doodles. While designed to be played with the 5th edition of the world’s oldest roleplaying game in mind, with a few modifications it can be played with nearly any fantasy RPG.
Here’s what your party’s up against: Edelia is the beloved, orphaned niece of a member in your adventuring party and is being raised by her grandfather, an elderly gnome known for pulling elaborate pranks. For Edelia’s seventh birthday, she has kindly requested that you, the mighty heroes of Halcyon, attend the gathering that her grandfather is hosting. Ready your party for hijinks!
Hat of Holding Magical Item and Cake Mimic Magical Item 5E Stat Cards – Dungeon Crate Exclusive
The encounter comes with two Magical Item Stat Cards. The Hat of Holding: Just like a certain time wandering, big blue box, this wondrous rare item is bigger on the inside and ready for shenanigans. The Cake Mimic: While it looks delicious, there’s something sinister about this sweet confection. We dare you to take a bite but it might bite back.
