Unboxing Dungeon Crate: February 2022

Curious what we put into February’s Dungeon Crate? Welcome, adventurer! Let's take a virtual walk-through of February 2022. As per usual we loaded up the crate with a wide variety of fun and useful RPG loot. We also included an original 5E one-shot with all our printed goodies PLUS another set of two kick a$$ augmented reality cards

Announcing! Announcing!

We are proud to announce that we’re the first to feature Ardent Roleplay 3D cards in our crates! We started in January so this month included our second set of 3D AR cards. Each month we’re including two more full-color 3D AR cards to add to the collection.

Uh…What’s an Augmented Reality Card?

These 3D cards (from our friends way over the pond at Ardent Roleplay) are a way to fully immerse your players into the game! We added super simple instructions with the cards so players and GMs can easily bring them to 3D life. Check out Ardent Roleplay’s website to find out more about the cards and about everything they’re doing to take your RPG to the next level.

We created our A Bard’s Bounty one-shot with the 3D cards in mind so they’re a perfect addition to that encounter and are also great for spicing up any existing campaigns.

Mega 35mm D20 - Metallic Dice Games

Our members can make their next attack have maximum impact by rolling the Mega D20 we included into the February crate. This 35mm acrylic D20 packs a punch. We couldn’t decide so we got a whole assortment of colors, which means whatever color each person got was destined for them.

Miniature Figure - Reaper Miniatures

We got a variety of minis for this month’s crate. Everyone loves minis but not everybody is into painting them. We don’t judge here! We recommend you do what you want! Paint up your minis or play ‘em plain, straight from the box.

Miniature Figure - Reaper Miniatures

What’s better than one mini? Two! We got another assortment of detailed minis, just adding to the mysterious fun. It came ready to be painted up all fancy-like or played as-is, straight from the box.

Just Checked in to See What Condition Our Condition Was In

These colorful markers make it easy to track the most frequently used spell and ability effects, plus they look cool on your gaming table. We offered an assorted set of three condition markers and threw in a three-inch Dungeon Crate sticker just for funsies.

Dungeon Crate Exclusive - Button and Sticker Pack by L.A.W.

Slap some swag on your stuff! We gave everyone one of our original sticker designs, the Player sticker. It’s a house-favorite. And the mini Dungeon Crate button we gave looks amazing on con bags and jackets. We even threw in handy wet/dry erase mini game sheets.

Dungeon Crate Exclusive - The Bard’s Bounty One-Shot by Dungeon Doodles

This original one-shot adventure was written by our own Dungeon Doodles. It’s set in our world of Halcyon yet can just as easily be placed into any world. It’s a medium difficulty, Level 2 encounter that’s designed for 5E but is easily modified for Pathfinder or any other fantasy RPG platform.

Here’s what the party is in for: what starts as a leisurely stroll through the bustling but seemingly safe harbor of Guld turns into a hunt for a bard’s missing mandolin. Is your party up the challenge?

Dungeon Crate Exclusive - City Guard Stat Card

This illustrated card offers 5E stats and a full-color, original image so you know just what kind of baddie you’re dealing with. The card is a perfect complement to our Bard’s Bounty one-shot or any other fantasy RPG.

Dungeon Crate Exclusive - Mandolin Stat Card

This rare weapon named Nollia’s Song can charm humanoids within 30 feet. No wonder this bard wants it back. This illustrated card offers 5E stats and a full-color, original image. It fits into our Bard’s Bounty one-shot encounter or any other fantasy RPG.

Dungeon Crate Exclusive - Bard Art Print by Dungeon Doodles

This original art print of the bard, Nollia, is from the mind of Dungeon Doodles. Visuals like this are a great way to keep your players engaged. The art print is suitable for framing and feels right at home on any lair wall.

Dungeon Crate Exclusive - Insert

Seriously! We print a dungeon tile on the back of each insert so instead of just throwing it away, you can recycle it by cutting out a dungeon crawl for your party.

Lagniappe - /lan yap/ noun: something given as a bonus or extra gift

We always like to put a little extra item or two into our Dungeon Crates. It adds to the fun!

Free Digital Dungeon Crate Access

All our members get full access to our Digital Dungeon Crate. With the secret code we provided on the insert, members can access and print out February’s encounter, map, stat cards, and plenty of other digital goodies.

Know what else the secret code does? It gives our members 10% off our online store, all month long! We’ve got a host of minis, dice and dice sets, coins, tokens, RPG lifestyle gear, full-length adventures, one-shot encounters, traps, random room encounters, and so much more. Many of our items are exclusive to Dungeon Crate!

We hope this tour of February’s crate makes you want to join up! At the very least, we’d love it if you could find and follow us on our Facebook Dungeon Crate Adventurers’ Guild, Instagram, and Twitter as well as Pinterest, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
